International Master Class

Starting in the autumn of 2019, LUSEM invites students enrolled in selected one-year Master's programmes to apply for an "International Master Class" at one of our prestigious partner universities. This is a unique opportunity to add-on a semester to the masters' studies in Lund.

Each university has been selected to complement the studies of a master's program at LUSEM. Students participating in the International Master Class take master courses in line with their major subject, to deepen their field of expertise and specialization while adding a further global aspect to their education.

Financing

Students eligible to receive Swedish study aid, CSN, will still be able to receive their monthly payments during their semester abroad.

All students, regardless of citizenship, can apply for the Erasmus mobility grant if they do their master class within the EU. The application is to be made online after you have been awarded an exchange place.

Students at Lund University are also able to apply for a travel grant from the Crafoord Foundation for a stay abroad, within or outside the EU.

Please note that you can not be awarded both an Erasmus scholarship and a travel grant from the Crafoord Foundation.

Residence permit and Visa
If you are a non-EU citizen with a Swedish residence permit, there are a couple of things that you need to be aware of. Contact Lund University's migration expert Louise Corrigan  before you leave for your semester abroad, to make sure that you are on top of the situation.
