Welcome to MATB13 Discrete Mathematics, 7.5 credits

 General Information

​MATB13 Discrete Mathematics is an optional course for a Bachelor of Science
degree in mathematics. It covers combinatorics, generating functions, recursion
formulae and difference equations as well as rings and fields with application to coding theory.

The teaching consists of lectures and seminars.

The module is assessed through a written and an oral examination.
