Welcome to MATM15 Number Theory, 7.5 credits

 General Information

​MATM15 Number Theory is an alternatively compulsory course at advance level for a Master of Science degree in mathematics. It covers the classical theory of congruences, quadratic reciprocity, quadratic forms and Diophantene approximation.

Teaching
The teaching consists of lectures and seminars. Compulsory hand-in exercises may be given.

Assessment
The module is assessed through a written and an oral examination.
